WWII Flying Training Log 2
RAAF Observer's, Gunners and W/T Operator's Flying Log Book belonging to Daryl Telford (Jock) Simpson DFC (TKS 1936-41) Service No 423342. Jock enlisted 20 June 1942 and was discharged 8 February 1946. He trained as an Air Observer and was transferred to 11 Empire Flight Training Scheme in Perth, Scotland in July 1944. A month later he was in Ireland before being transferred to 142 Squadron (Mosquitoes) taking part in raids on Germany. His DFC was awarded 25 September 1945
