Medals and dress minatures awarded to Wallace Washington Brown (TKS 1909-11), WWI service number 18392 Mechanical Transport Reinforcements May 1917-July 1918 HMAT Runic A54.He saw Service in France during August - October 1918. After an month in hosptial with influenza he returned to his unit and on 22 July 1919 arrived back in Australia on the "Ulysses". During WWII he enlisted 15 February 1943 NX193894. He enlisted in Puruata, New Guinea where he had worked as a planter. He joined the Australian New Guniea Adminsitrative Unit. He was mentioned in Despatches 6 March 1947 Commonwealth of Australia Gazette 43 and his Amercian Bronze Star was gazetted in Issue 101 1 July 1948 He was Discharged 14 December 1945. Bronze Star (US), 1914-15 Star, British War Medal 1914-20, Victory Medal, Pacific Star , 1939-45 Star, War Medal 1939-45, Australian Service Medal 1939-45 with Oak leaves.
