Waddy's Letter to Captain of Rugby

Rev PS Waddy HM 11 resigned in 1916 to enlist in the AIF as a Chaplain. He maintained an active correspondence both with the School and its former students. This is one such letter where he writes to the Captain of Rugby encouraging him and the team for the next season and commmenting on the war citing that as the game of Rugby is often in the second half then, so too, may the war be won in the latter half.
