Sam Drummond Letters 2
This letter is written at the start of a new year and chronicles his activites over three days. He mentions Cricket, this time against Baker House where Peter Nagle (TKS 1942-46) took 7 wickets. Peter would go on to play for the 1st XI in 1946. Sam mentions not doing well in a recent test and promises to work harder next time. The boys had been involved in digging slit trenches in the oval as a precaution against possible air raids. Rain has made the clay very boggy.
