Rowing oar blade

Blade only of the 1920 1st VIII Crew who were the first TKS Crew to win the AAGPS Head of the River for VIII's. The names of the crew are written on the blade. This win set in place a tradition whereby the crew of an AAGPS winning team would be awarded an oar. There is a complete oar hanging in the Museum donated by the family of CC Stephens and another in the Thomas Pavilion.
