Propaganda leaflet
Leaflet showing a photogrpah of Turkish Prisoner's of War "smiling". Leaflet was found on Atawimeh Redoubt near Wadi Guzzhe (sic) by NH Wright . "Wilbur" Wright has written on the back of the leaflet Propaganda for Prisoners of War. Turks in British hands saying how well looked after. 1917. The wadi which had fresh water was near Gaza and the area captured went from the Wadi to Beersheba. Newcombe Henry "Wilbur" Wright TKS 1909-12 was a Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers (Signals) W12 Cable Section and fought mostly in Palestine
