MHB Burns Family Cemetery Ring

Burns Family Cemetery Mary Heron Burns (nee Morris) passed away in 1904 and it is assumed that the cemetery was established on her death. Her headstone is a marble cross seated on a triple plinth of marble and adorned with a dove and flowers. It is surrounded by an iron rondel 6.3 metres in diameter. This sits in a bed of sandstone. Plinth 1 Peace/Perfect/ peace, Plinth 2 Mary Heron/ Beloved wife of James Burns/Died 25th August 1904/Aged 49 years. Mary died from consumption.
