Manning Letter 5 GO Manning to his wife.
Letter from Guy Manning to his wife, re visit to Palm Island, mentioning the 2 submarines AE 1 and AE 2 and the possibility of him receiving a new position. Mention of his daily work and his brother Charles Edye Manning (TKS 1892-98), Judge Advocate with Colonel Holmes. He requested a transfer when Holmes was replaced in 1915 and was subsequently sent to France where he was killed 7 August 1917.
