Letter from R Buckland to his mother


Letter from Reg Buckland to his mother on 8th Australian Light Horse letterhead from the machine Gun Section He speaks about an attack on the Turkish lines, capturing 35 prisoners and one German officer and the sand blizzard his section endured for three days. During early 1916, they were defending the area around the Suez Canal.
