Cadet Promotions Certificate
The King's School Cadet Corps was under the Command of Eastern Command of the Australian Military Forces. Eastern Command were responsible for promotions and training of the Cadets. The activites that Sam qualified in are very different to the skills mastered by today's Cadets. He was trained in the use of weapons as well as drill, fieldcraft and map reading. Sam's promotion to Cadet Lieutenant was recorded KSM December 1946 p32. The Certificate was signed by Captain JSB Doak who resigned as Officer in Charge of The King's School Cadet Corps early in 1946 and JP O'Sullivan officer in Charge of School Cadets.
