Burns Family Cemetery 1
Grey granite headstone on sandstone plinth, with sandstone surrounds. In memory of/Captain John Burns/Australian Light Horse/who fought in/Egypt, Gallipoli and Palestine/was invalided home/and died 25th February 1921/Aged 36 years/May he Rest in Peace. He enlisted on September 1914 in the 1st Light Horse Field Ambulance. He was wounded and returned home but died as a result of medical issues following his injury in 1921.
