Album of photographs from the Old School Site

"Peeps in a Chapel Garden" is a book of photographs taken by Alfred Gough, Music master and Organist 1907-35 who was also a very keen amateur photographer. Many of his photographs were published in the School Magazine. The 12 photographs in the hand tooled and embossed leather bound album were of the garden at the Old School Site especially around the Chapel tendered by Mrs Baker, the wife of Rev Edward Morgan Baker 1919-32. Each hand tinted photograph is accompanied by a quote from literature. This album was presented to Mrs Baker when her husband retired and the letter accompanying the gift has been slipped inside the front cover of the album. The album was rescued from the rubbish during the move to the new site and presented by "Robbo" Robertson to Mrs Kurrle. In 2005 Canon and Mrs Kurrle presented it to the Archives.
