My Body of Work is an investigation and exploration of the abuse of packaging within the contemporary world. The key focus is packaging’s ability to withdraw the natural aspects of the food we eat, creating an artificial supply of produce. Through the traditional still life genre contrasting with contemporary plastic packaging I intend to shine a light on the repulsion of synthetic packaging that suffocates the natural characteristics of the food we consume.
